• Identity: Your name.
• Contact: Email address, phone number and, optionally, company name.
• Request details: The services you are interested in, origin and destination, type of cargo, weight or volume, your message and, if you attach one, your document (e.g. a proforma invoice); the page and the language from which you sent the form.
• Security: Your IP address and the standard server logs kept by our hosting provider (date and time, requested page, browser information).
• Correspondence: What you share with us if you contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp.

Please do not write special categories of personal data (for example health, religion or criminal records) in the message field; we do not need such information to prepare a quote.

• Receiving and assessing your quote and information requests and preparing quotes for you.
• Contacting you by email or phone about your request.
• Preparing a contract for transport services.
• Keeping the website secure and preventing unwanted or excessive requests.
• Meeting our legal obligations and protecting our rights in possible disputes.

Your personal data is collected electronically: when you send it to us through the quote and contact forms on this website, by email, phone or WhatsApp, and automatically by the server while you visit the website.

It is processed on the following legal grounds of Article 5(2) KVKK:

• (c) It is directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract: answering your quote request and pre-contract talks.
• (ç) It is necessary for us to comply with a legal obligation.
• (e) It is necessary to establish, exercise or protect a right.
• (f) Our legitimate interest, provided your fundamental rights and freedoms are not harmed: the security of the website and the prevention of abuse.

Within the purposes above and in line with Articles 8 and 9 KVKK, your personal data may be transferred to:

• The providers of the server hosting this website and of our email service, only to deliver the service technically.
• Our group company Taha Gümrük Müşavirliği Ltd. Şti., if your request also covers customs procedures.
• Competent public authorities where the law requires it.

The map on the contact page is provided by Google Maps (Google LLC) and loads only when you press "Show the map". When it loads, your browser connects to Google's servers, and your IP address and browser information are sent to Google, whose servers are located abroad. If you write to us on WhatsApp, your messages pass through WhatsApp's (Meta's) infrastructure.

This website does not use cookies of its own, and there are no analytics or advertising tools tracking your visit. Only the Google Maps map on the contact page may use Google's cookies, once you choose to show it. You can block or delete them in your browser settings.

Your quote and contact requests are kept for as long as needed for the purpose of processing and for at most two years after the request is concluded. If your request leads to a contract, the retention periods of the applicable legislation apply. At the end of the period your data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

Your IP address, used to prevent abuse, is not stored permanently; it is held only in the server's memory and for at most 10 minutes.

If you apply for a job through the form on the careers page, we process your name, email address, phone number, the area you apply for, what you write about yourself and your CV (with the information in it, such as your education and work experience).

We process this data to assess your application, to contact you and to prepare an employment contract, under Article 5(2)(c) KVKK (directly related to concluding a contract) and Article 5(2)(f) KVKK (our legitimate interest).

The application form and your CV are not stored on the website; they are only sent to our team by email. Your application is kept for at most one year after the assessment ends, so that we can contact you if a suitable position opens in that time. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.

Please leave special categories of personal data, such as religion, health, union membership or criminal records, out of your CV; we do not need them to assess your application.

Under Article 11 KVKK you may apply to us to exercise these rights:

• To learn whether your personal data is processed.
• To request information about it if so.
• To learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly.
• To know the third parties in Turkey or abroad to whom it is transferred.
• To request its correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate.
• To request its deletion or destruction under the conditions of Article 7 KVKK.
• To request that corrections, deletions or destructions be notified to the third parties it was transferred to.
• To object to a result against you that arises from analysis exclusively by automated systems.
• To claim compensation if you suffer damage from unlawful processing.

In line with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, you can send your requests in writing to our address above, by registered electronic mail (KEP), with a secure electronic or mobile signature, or from an email address you have previously given us to operasyon@bmklojistik.com.

Your application is concluded free of charge within thirty days at the latest. If the process requires an additional cost, the fee set by the Personal Data Protection Board may be charged.
